GRASSROOTS is a forthcoming feature film directed by Stephen Gyllenhaal, starring Jason Biggs (AMERICAN PIE), Lauren Ambrose (SIX FEET UNDER), and Joel David Moore (AVATAR). Based on a true story and set in Seattle in 2000, I was the Set Decorator, working with Production Designer Laurie Hicks. Our design challenge was to turn back the clock by a decade and recreate real locations from the turn of the millennium during a political campaign for the Seattle City Council.
